Board member changes

After Nic’s retirement as chair and trustee at the most recent AGM, Development Coll has seen a shift in member roles.

Congratulations to Sam Rutherford who has since been appointed the new chairperson of Development Coll. Sam is a born and bred Collach, and having spent his childhood here he now lives with his wife Rosie, and two young children. Sam works as a builder and is currently converting the old Free Church in the village into his new family home. Sam has a keen interest in the inner workings of Development Coll and will be a fantastic chairperson, given his closeness to the island with his family history, and interest in development for the future with his two young children.

Keith Russell is now the secretary of Development Coll. Keith and his wife Julia are currently building their own house in the islands east end, and have been island residents now for several years. Keith’s business and general management experience are a vital resource for Development Coll, and he will do an excellent job as board secretary.
